@MrMaker The new ports did it for me. 4000 for the win.

RE: Cheap or Free Games!
@Thenomain So I bought them, and I'm starting with Dragonfall since there seems to be a consensus that the first one isn't the best. So far I'm really enjoying it, playing a Decker with a Rifle for the meatworld damage.

RE: Cheap or Free Games!
@Arkandel Oh, I'm the same way. But I actually feel like I'll try to play this one! Possibly! Most likely? At least there's a fair chance that I'll play it.
@Thenomain Cool. I'm going to give it a try.

RE: Cheap or Free Games!
So Steam Summer Sale is going. I'm thinking of buying the Shadowrun games. Anyone played them?

RE: Good TV
@Arkandel I started out pretty lukewarm to Preacher, but I'm starting to get into it now that we're getting a bit into the season.

RE: Do you believe in paranormal things?
When I say I don't believe, it doesn't mean I feel an inclination to mock those who do. I've even come across moments when I've wondered myself. But all of them had in common of being during the night, while I was pretty sleepy, and so I'm leaning towards the assumption that it was my brain playing tricks on me. Brains do that.
I'm a skeptic at heart. This goes both ways, though.
ETA: Okay, sometimes I do feel inclined to mock. But just if its fucking ridiculous.

RE: Grid Construction and Planning
@Seamus Less is more. Don't have big sprawling grids where the majority of the grid locations see no use what so ever.. If you have more than 10 area grid squares you've gone too far. You could probably make do with half that. Pack them full of places and stuff instead.

RE: Dead Celebrity Thread
I always found Star Trek horribly campy, and I never watched a single episode from start to finish. I did like the new Star Trek movies, though, and the only reason is probably because they weren't very Star Trek.

RE: Any Streamers Out There?
@Apu , I know that @Cobaltasaurus streams, having watched it for a bit.

RE: Good TV
I think the Game of Thrones episode had some of the best battle scenes I've seen on TV ever. Just following Jon Snow through the chaos of it was utterly exhilarating. Actually I'm struggling to remember any fantasy/historical show or even movie that's done a better job of it.
I'm not surprised to learn that it was the same director who did Hardhome, my second favorite big action episode on GoT.

RE: Kushiel's Debut
@Cupcake Drummed out? What'd you do to deserve that fate?

RE: [Interest Check] Original vampire-based supernatural MU*
@Bobotron So how does the Government hold its own? You say section 7 and the City Council in New York keeps tabs/works with the supernatural/vampires. But how are they not just pawns maintained by the Sups to do whatever the Sups want?
-
RE: [Interest Check] Original vampire-based supernatural MU*
I'm liking the writeup so far.

And you know, you were pretty friendly with staff too up until last week.
Isn't that the crux of @Sunny's complaint? She knows she was friendly with Staff, and this got her access to plot, and her problem is that when she tried to get other people also access to plot, people who weren't friendly with Staff, then she got shot down. Thus revealing to her how utterly fucked the situation was?
That's what I'm getting from it, anyway.

@lordbelh I feel like you pretty much dislike everyone.
I'm a bitter old curmudgeon!
More seriously, I dislike very few people, and they're massively outnumbered by the people I like! Most people I feel nothing towards one way or another. Carrying around active grudges and dislikes is too much effort, requires you to actually know someone. I'll point out things/behavior I dislike if I see them, though.

Ok, since it seems Sunny will only address me where her adoring fanbase can cheer her on
She has an adoring fanbase here?
@Skaldia said in Kushiel's Debut:
If I get banned or whatever, I really don't care.
I think you have a mistaken opinion on how the Musoapbox works. Unless you're a shit stirring troll, we'll tolerate your presence whether or not we think you're an asshole. Me, I think you are one, but not because I am a fanboi of @Sunny.

RE: Can RP be art?
Is storytelling an artform? I'd say it is. And roleplay is cooperative storytelling.
But I'll still write off as self deluded, pompous and preposterous, anyone who actually refers to their roleplay as art. The amount of eyerolling I'll be doing behind my computer screen will be impossible to accurately describe. It'll be eyerolling as an artform.
