Cliques by themselves isn't necessarily bad as long as they have reasons to still interact with the rest of the game. People will play with people they like to play with, and not everybody has the time to do a million scenes a week. If time's a limitation, its often a question of priorities rather than exclusion.
I don't like trolls, but I could tolerate the asshole up until the point where he went into the personally abusive territory. At which point, y'know, chuck 'em out.
Double post: Also final scene mike drop. I loved it. I have been loving that whole story the last couple of seasons, from it not being my favorite.

I like having a common thread character in a game, and on most games I never play more than one character at a time. I don't think I would be able to have no character. But I could just have a random one. I've picked random characters from roster lists before. It's an easy way to try out a game/theme, and often they just stick.
But I like working with environments, too, I like picking up multiple faces that surrounds our PC characters, and give life to the world beyond just them.
@lordbelh I haven't watched it. I was up late watching the Raptors game so I didn't have it in me to stay up more. So I avoided the internet for the entire morning, I was super paranoid about being spoiled.
Then my freakin' niece from across the freakin' ocean PMs me on Facebook and spoils it.

Ha. I feel for you, man. For what it's worth, I thought it was a really good episode full of forward momentum. So you've got something to look forward to.
GoT: I knew that was how it'd go when it happened in the books. I WAS RIGHT. But they did manage to make me doubt myself for a long ass time.
People were lining up to play RfK, and it employed PvP as an integral part of the game, from bottom up. So yes, I think if you make a well built game with solid foundations, it's a good way to go.
I don't know if its been mentioned, but isnt there a Harry Dresden game around, too? Using the Harry Dresden system.
Anyway, I'm pretty sure if you made an original theme urban fantasy game, and it wasn't terrible, people would be happy to play it.
@Bug-In-A-Jar How are you toast? Downvotes have zero impact on anything, anymore than upvotes do. It what, affects you minimally as far as how often you can post?
You're toast on this forum only if you act like an idiot, and it has nothing to do with votes. People will just call you out on it.
There is no line to toe. There's no unified big brigade of people who share the same view on everything.
@Bug-In-A-Jar Its not like its a popularity contest where the number of votes wins you the debate. Having lots of votes mean shit. I like it because it allows you to very easily say you find a point succinct (or stupid), just by clicking a button instead of writing a post. And if you're doing that, well, the meaning is lost when its anonymous.
What's the fucking point of knowing who up/downvoted you anyway? So you know who is on your side in the great MU* flame war?
If I am downvoting someone (and I sometimes are), I want them to see that I did it. Similarly if I'm downvoted (or upvoted) I want to see who did that, too. Quite often up and downvotes are the only contributions people make to a thread, and in doing so they're weighing in even if they're not posting (and what's the point if you're just regurgitating other people's opinion ad nausium anyway?)

@Arkandel, @Three-Eyed-Crow , I haven't read the comics. I'm not a comics guy. But just from who is making it and starring in it, and what I've heard from people who've seen the first episode, apparently there are reasons to be excited.
I have a secret hope that they did that just so they can quickly write all things Dorne out of the show by killing the people who matter.

@Arkandel I use wikis in conjunction with +where/+who. To see if there's any people looking active whom my character has a good reason to interact with.
