On Zoom meetings I don't even try anymore. It's all about the t-shirts (and seeing who notices what!) My boss, though, he's still in his little short sleeve button downs. But then he gets up because one of his kids is running around, etc, and you see the gym shorts.

Honestly, I love Zoom meetings with him, versus in person. His kids and dog just make it so entertaining. Especially since they're 6 and 2, and often just start taking off clothes and running around like wild things. He gets so flustered, but I think its funny. We've all seen little kids do that.

@insomniac7809 Oh, no doubt. Maybe he needs to hire one. God knows I'm stubborn as fuck when I'm manic. I will do things, even knowing my broken ass will pay for it in pain later. Which only makes the depression slide deeper.

@Rinel Please tell me that was to be punk, gardening, and bees. Otherwise I'll have to ask: What the hell is punk gardening? (I kid. Though I did think about Greg Gaffin gardening and singing to his plants)

@JinShei - I feel this. I had calling hours yesterday, and funeral today - in a church with no AC, and the windows open. When there's heat advisory. And I'm in a dress and had to wear leggings, because I ran my last pair of pantyhose.

I will throw that bra out. It's just... eww.

There is too much noise in my head and I can't focus. And then, I will get short bursts of hyperfocus so intense that I'm oblivious to what's around me.

@silverfox I have 8. The most recent was a tribute to my father, in a way. It's a lyric from a Rush song, that was on when my sister told me he was gone. "We're only immortal, for a limited time."

That wasn't supposed to be what I got. I was going to get 'Just Breathe' - because of my anxiety and panic attacks. So I am RIGHT there with you on the 'I should get that tatooed on me.'

(Yes, I know technically Just Breathe is also a song lyric. :P)

Also, I have a TON of t-shirts, and I have favorites, that despite others being in fandoms/etc that are super close to my geeky little heart, reign supreme.

I need to do laundry BAD (If I don't want to switch from shorts to PJ pants/jeans). I put on a t-shirt from one my favorite fandoms, and jesus christ, was the collar always this annoying? I feel like it's choking me, even though I effing know it isn't.

@mietze Well, right now, the 'legal' minds I'm hearing from on the news, it's not enough time before election. I'm hoping enough shit changes after. And I hope the democrats scream at him about the voice of the people, like he did about Merrick Garland.

I'm lucky. My dog is a total love slut. I think if the Devil was offering belly rubs, my dog would be all in.

But he's still 75ish lbs, and not a little lap dog like he thinks he is. And his one bark can be loud and deep. People are naturally going to be afraid of him, unless they're used to dogs like him. Training him to sit and wait for people to come to him has been one of the best things I've ever done.

@Wizz That card is actually quite lovely. I'm totally in line with the social progress and other tenets, but I didn't know there was an actual MEMBERSHIP CARD.

@Ganymede Yes, but people come to our office that need help with Medicaid and other social services, and therefore may be allergic, will be the BS I get, unless I find a way to get him service trained.

@Ghost I am so sad about this. He was a hero to my brother and I. We liked him so much, we named our female cat Eddie.

He was such a great actor. I think almost anyone can hear him in their head from some movie he was in that they loved (For me, it's the Rock. Why? No idea.)

But 90? He had a helluva life.
