@Paris Or this, yes. For all that she's calling people creepy on her Tumblr for 'stalking' her... she's not hesitated to do it herself or have her friends do it for her.

RE: Alternative Formats to MU
@rook See, and I don't really see a difference between having 3-4 tabs or windows up and having 3-4 (or more) spawn windows up in the client itself. And frankly, I couldn't MUSH if I could have spawn windows. That's too damn much clutter in my RP screen, I lose poses when there's channels, pages, OOC chatter, and RP all on a single window. I have to separate it out to begin with.

RE: Book suggestions
For Erotica.. The Sleeping Beauty trilogy by A. N. Roquelaure (aka Anne Rice). VERY interesting 'what happens after the kiss' expansion to the Sleeping Beauty story. ^_^ Definitely has BDSM themes.
Johanna Lindsey's Mallory Clan novels are GREAT period romances with plenty of sex.

@deadculture 1917 is when they started selling them. Not sure when they got so crazy popular... but man, I love these damn things. And they added s'mores cookies somewhere along the way, so I had to get a box of those too...

RE: Regarding administration on MSB
Jesus, I go to work for ONE DAY...
@thenomain You aren't the only one that sees the not-so-subtle correlations between staffers who are acting in ways that they would ban people for on their own games. Its being noted with high amusement.
@Auspice I will agree and say that maybe the post was a bit premature.. but I don't see anything inherently wrong with it. There are games too numerous to count where staff have pre-emptively posted to stop certain undesirable behaviors before they start. I don't see the difference here.
NOW, I haven't seen this 'Not Mod Voice' post being talked about (sue me, there's still 20 updates on MSB for me to catch up on!)... but if its meant to be an informal forum in the first place, which I believe is the intention but I will stand down to someone with more behind-the-curtain knowledge than me (mods, looking at you!).. then why all the burnt asses about a moderator trying to be informal?

RE: Eldritch - A World of Darkness MUX
I'm actually using my character to try and pull some different people into various scenes. Its a bit slow going at the moment since I do have an inconsistent schedule for work right now, but I'll be poking at various groups! I've even been in contact with at least one LS vamp, so I'm more than happy to RP with whomever.
Honestly, I think timing/scheduling/timezones have been the biggest holdup thus far. People are willing and wanting to play, finding a time when all the free time coincides is the hard part.

RE: The Cat Thread
These are my current pair. The big orange tabby is DJ, the calico is Glitter. This is an odd moment of normalcy from them, you usually have to wait for them to be asleep to catch them on film together.

RE: The Apology Thread
@Auspice What you're suggesting still isn't an apology, just an admittance of having shrugged off another person. When you apologize to someone, it doesn't take three paragraphs of rambling diatribe that never once says 'I'm sorry I did this'. He starts it off by saying 'I apologize to some people'... and then goes on to talk about how its really just about how he didn't realize that other people were taking it badly, while also stating that he recognized it was happening and consciously turned off his empathy towards them. There's no apology there.
@Arkandel I'm mostly interested in the guy proclaiming his retirement from MU*ing (again), starting a thread about apologizing to people... then failing to actually apologize to anyone. This is the most Spidery thing I've seen happen since she huffed off from TR.

RE: Regarding administration on MSB
@arkandel It does, at least, prove that there is no 'hivemind'... or rather, that there are many smaller hiveminds. Or cliques, if you prefer. That said, I am glad to have three relatively disparate individuals watching over the forum. It gives a better allowance for 'gut-checking' against someone that you know has differing views. Never a bad thing. Hell, if I could find that on a MU, I might actually try my hand at playing again!

RE: Anyone want to ST for Changeling?
Oh! Yeah, its built by the same pair from TR, to be the same basic concept, far as I can tell. They wanted a new environment, can't say that I blame them.

RE: The Secret Life of (Your) Pets
I'm sure I've posted this before somewhere but...
These are my current liegelords. On the left, the orange tabby is DJ (short for Don Juan, though he has long since proven himself to be more of a Don Quixote) and the calico is Glitter (my oldest son named her). Glitter is the princess, and DJ is our resident grump who will not sit on laps because legs are SCARY.
