For lunch bunch the kids wanted to watch a movie instead of play a game, so we watched the first episode of this and now I want to watch them all.

This one got me this morning. My dad loved Jazz and he had a CD with 4 songs. I would play that thing over and over.
I mean YES... I still have to go to MOST PD.
But the state of Colorado just decided all K-5 educators must also have a reading endorsement. So the entire elementary school is having to get their endorsement (taking a test, classes, etc) but I HAVE MINE. So when they go off to study and work on requirements I sit my pretty butt in my classroom and work. >.<
Every time my advanced degree gets me excused from a professional development I start singing. Thank god~~

I was enrolled in an endometrisosis pain study recently, but washed out because my pain wasn't "severe" enough. This led to a conversation with the nurse in charge of participants about some of the questions they were asking.
One was similar to, "Have you missed work in the last 24 hours due to pain?"
My answer was always no - because I don't have the monetary or structural ability to just... not go to work? Like 10/10, if I COULD have stayed home today with my heating pad, I would have. I know the chances of me throwing up if I eat due to pain are pretty high so I'm just not going to eat today until the pain retreats.
It just made me reflect on how the real world doesn't always mesh with the academic one.
Dang, I would give a kidney to have a therapy dog assigned to our school. For our kiddos suffering from trauma it would be SO AMAZING to have that where they could access it.
ON A TOTALLY DIFFERENT NOTE:

Botch! Norwood is simply outclassed. This is monumentally beyond them and the result is ruinous.
Which is amazing, because it was a perception roll, and earlier in the scene I paged this to Adalyn character (we were about 3-4 rounds into the scene at this point)

EDIT: This scene just keeps getting better. I've never loved my failed rolls more.

Man - not taking my meds is at the point where it is SUPER noticeable just from missing a day. I don't like me when I forget.
Why is remembering them in the morning so hard?? I even bought a foot long neon green container that is almost impossible to ignore and I still forgot yesterday.
