sobs in a corner
I neeeeeed someone to talk with. Who has read everything (except White Sands which I'm weirdly having problems accessing?)
Like, legit, SOMEONE I WILL NOT SPOIL THINGS FOR.

I swore I was going to go back and reread everything after finishing Rhythm of War.
Turns out I hadn't finished the Wax and Wayne Mistborn books. So I just did and and am now freaking the fuck out.
... my district just polled our staff asking "When the vaccine comes out, will you take it?" and almost 20% said 'no'.
That should be a LOT LOWER imo (not 0, because some people can't take it). I'm peeved about this.
The pillow box, to be clear. Which honestly I'm offended (not really) you don't live in already.
Vitalis tried to put you in a box! That didn't work.
WHERE DOES SEND YOU!?
(also legit were you stuck somewhere and couldn't get out because I'm really sorry then. It was also a messenger not a @mail. Y'know, so it doesn't happen again.)
You are welcome to come crawl back into Norwood's pocket any time you need some relax. I'll try to put you among the pillows.
I will help you hide the bodies.
Lovely people! I had a super heartwarming story from today and I wanted to hear yours also! It doesn't have to be a thing you got, but maybe a conversation/experience.
My grandfather died before I was born. (Car accident and then hospital negligence.) Dad doesn't talk a lot about Grandpa, but it's always been obvious that he loved his father a lot. When he died there was some problems between the siblings over the estate and I never knew dad had anything of his father beyond the skills he'd taught him.
Much to my surprise when I open my gift from my dad it's a pair of earrings with a little note. (My father has never been fond, for some reason, that all of us girls got pierced ears, so earrings are a weird gift from him!) The note describes that the earrings are made of the coins my grandfather collected all the years. My father wanted each of us girls (and grand girls) to have a piece of his father.
So so many tears. It is honestly up there among the most touching things. Dad didn't have much of his father and what he did have, he gave to us kids.
I am with @bear_necessities - please give at least a core grid/set of rooms. I am able to riff off things easily enough but when I want a pick-up scene but don't have a particular idea I 100% of the time go wander the grid or (on Gray Harbor) look at the location listing to spark an idea then check the desc to make sure it works. Sometimes it is a single line that will breathe forth a whole scene.
I mean - I'm not sure I'd be comfortable with that. I won't sit and look down on you as you drink, but I'm also not going to also provide ways to drink either.
.> NGL this is why I almost always opt out of this kind of thing.
I remember one year my husband participated and he DID get a bottle of wine.
This despite being openly Mormon (aka, we don't drink.) I made him pour it down the drain as soon as he got home.
I haven't coped very well. I cycle between being okay and being depressed petty card core. I've found I have very little left in 'reserve'. It takes almost nothing to shake me and as a teacher that means I spend a lot of time shaken.
It is legit! My school is TECHNICALLY in line with the law. We rewrote all the IEPs with an eye to services we could provide if we went remote. Parents agreed and signed.
But fuck.
They still needed those other services.
I get it. I know why we're remote. Please don't fucking reply with 'it's for the good of all'
FUCK distance learning. FUCK it.
It's NOT better for some kids to be at home and we're not making a fucking ounce of accommodation for those kids.
Dear MuSoapBox,
Puppy pictures is what this part of the year needs. Ribbons and Christmas decorations for extra upvotes.
Thanks,
Everyone
oh fuck, I'm sorry. Thank you for reporting it anyway.
