Use a large geographic region. I wanted to do a CWoD setting using from, say, Pennsylvania up into New England.

Actually I was suggesting that @silentsophia look into probiotic supplements. Xp

Probiotic yogurt. It's amazing how well they've marketed something whose selling point is it has bacteria in it.

    • RE: Anime

It is quite possibly the best "hero's irritatingly linear journey" anime I've seen, since each of the archetypes has a personality twist that makes them not awful. Like how Lucy can be a shrew but once her backstory's laid out it makes sense. Same with Erza being the team hardass.

Dislike Laxus though. Dis. Like. He even has douchetats.

It'd be easy enough to do.

Run a riff on the Incursion plotline where instead of a pastiche, the Illuminati get the actual Justice League.

And Wonder Woman mops the floor with them singlehandedly. +1 if she snaps Reed Richards across the city like a rubber band.

A good GM will also come up with innovative ways to take your Nuyen.

One of the best counters to D&D style hoarding I saw was in the Mongoose Conan RPG. If players started hoarding treasure, the GM could call "High Living," which means that the PCs spend all their money on expensive inns, expensive drink, and expensive men/women.

That... sounds amazing. Little investment, characters are easy to replace, there's a continuity established--I'm assuming players weren't expected to pick up and run with a previous player's ball if they didn't care to do so?

@JDCorley I hadn't seen you online since Brave and the Bold. I thought you went to do grownup things in grownup places.

      How've you been?

It would be fun to play a Troll who styles himself a Formorian. WE WERE THERE FIRST.

Any chance you can point to a book or a link that explains Ireland and the Tir more?

      Try that?

Savage Worlds is one of the "Can be adjusted to suit any setting" systems. You might try that.

@BetterJudgment When he quoted Cicero and compared Obama to Caesar, I thought about somebody nailing Ted Cruz's severed head and hands to the senate podium and I smiled -- just a little bit.

There's a few fixes for it, and I managed to get one to work.

What I like about Win10--so far, she flies. I'm running a 2.5 year old laptop and so far it's faster than Windows 7 was. Pretty much ever.

So there's a glitch a ton of people are getting where your start menu cuts out, sometimes intermittently, sometimes for good.

      I got it.

      Yaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
