It was not my intention to go hog pit here. I admittedly have a lot of anger over my past experiences with the OP and it got the better of me but I by no means meant to be rude or mean about it. I apologize.

Geeky Collections
Starting this thread to give people a place to talk about their collections and share pictures and all that.
This is part of what I have collected so far.
I have mostly Pops but I also have some odds and ends from when I was subscribed to Loot Crate.

RE: Realms - Sir Kay - Lotherio
So many dishonest people on the internet (yeah, I know, what a shock, right?). Fuck.

RE: Just checking interest in a concept.
I wish I did. Sadly, all of my pictures have been lost over the years.

RE: An Apology to BSO and BSU.
He told me that he was from Louisiana and was a divorced man who told me he had sole custody of his son. I think he did that to be more sympathetic to me, a married mother of two boys.

@Alamias
Your collection is what I hope mine will be like someday. -
RE: The Apology Thread
I think people should be less worried about how an apology is given - public versus private, wording, etc - and just be happy people are willing to say they're sorry when they fuck up. Right now people are just picking nits over this entire thing and it's getting to become pretty ridiculous.

I wouldn't mind giving it a try! Let me know when everything's ready to go!

RE: Questionably viable character types and tropes (tangent from staff ethics convo)
I think the phrase 'questionably viable' is a bit subjective. A concept that might cause one person to raise their brow at it might be perfectly fine in the opinion of another person. That said, I will admit that there are some tropes that I am positively tired of. They often fall along the lines of being able to do ALL THE THINGS EVER! despite being relatively young and, in my experience, are the kind of characters the players try to get into the role of center of attention. This is the kind of thing I feel staff should keep an eye out for and, if necessary, put a very quick stop to.
ETA: If anyone wants a good example of what I mean, read the webcomic Ensign Sue Must Die. It is the perfect example of that trope, plus several others.

RE: Dead Celebrities 2020
Mad Magazine defined a lot of my (admittedly too) young life, it being something I read off and on and enjoyed quite a bit. There was even a time when one of my cousins brought me a huge pile out of his collection, giving them to me so I wouldn't be bored while laid up in bed sick, this being when I was in... second or fourth grade.

George is why we can't have nice things.

RE: TMC
Why would one hope to out grow it if it's still something they enjoy?

RE: Dead Celebrities 2020
Holy shit. Little Richard is such an icon. His loss will be felt for a very, very long time.

RE: To OOC Room or Not to OOC Room (and Other Artifacts)
I like having a division between OOC and IC as far as grid goes. If I am always on the IC side of the grid I wind up feeling pressured to RP when I might not feel up to doing more than OOCly chat with friends. An OOC room allows me to do that without the 'omgmustrp' pressure sitting in an IC room can bring about.

RE: RL things I love
Someone I met on Twitch's daughter was missing for a week. She was found and is coming home. I was so scared he'd be given bad news, or, at the very least, never find out where she was, but someone tipped off the proper people and they found her.

D&D One-Shot Idea
This isn't about a mu* that's in the works, but rather a D&D one-shot campaign I am creating as an attempt to get into DMing as well as learning how to stream TTRPGs and all that. If this isn't the proper place for it, feel free to move it to a more appropriate board, mods.
Anyhow, the premise is that it'll be taking place in two locations: A currently-unnamed bakery that appears to be haunted by pastries gone bad, and a currently-unnamed other dimension where the source of those naughty treats can be found. It'll be the party's job to take it out, of course, yadda yadda, etc.
The reason I am writing about it here is because I'd love to get some input and I can't ask any of my circle of friends in case some of them might want to play in it. I will drop ideas here as I get them and y'all can give input/advice, if you'd like.
Thanks in advance from me, who has never done anything like this before.

RE: Star Wars Republic d20 SAGA - (Prequel Era)
I would not mind playing on a game set in Episode II. It was a good movie and not a bad setting for a mush, in my opinion!
