RE: More Fitness
@Arkandel I can't have my phone on in a courtroom. I can't even take it inside of a prison.
-
RE: More Fitness
I needed the watch function because parts of my job take me to places where cellphones will be confiscated or you simply cannot enter with them.
-
RE: More Fitness
Double post: I forgot who most of the people who friended me are on MSB, poke me in fitbit to remind me?

@Three-Eyed-Crow If the watch was a bit smaller I could wear it while I sleep to track my zzz'ing patterns but I'm just not comfortable with it on.
What model do you have? My charge HR is comfortable enough to sleep in and I hadn't had a watch before.

RE: More Fitness
For lifting a fitbit isn't as useful but it helps you get a good overview of your daily routine and health state, from sleep quality to food/water intake and resting heart rate.

It was me. A false-flag operation to drum up sympathy.

RE: Super Hero System?
I'll admit i has been MANY years since I played SAS. But I am playing BESM-star wars right now and love it.

RE: Super Hero System?
I can go even more unpopular, @Glitch - Silver Age Sentinels/BESM aka Tri-Stat.

BITN - Seeking Staff and Pre-Launch Support
Hey Guys. TJ here. I am currently looking for some additional support to help us get up and running in RECORD TIME. Also, so as not to dilute the thread about the game progress, I am starting a new one.
Specifically, at this moment we are looking for folk to help with the following chores:
- Room Descing
- Monster Creation
- Pre-Generated PC Creation
- Story Seeds
- Application Staff
- Data Entry
If interested, contact me via MSB and join our team.

Chessapeake Marksmanship League - A Philosophical Cooperative of Survivalists and Firearms enthusiasts who specialize in hunting monsters who infiltrate human society.
The Redeemers - A Philosophical/Prey Cooperative of Scientists, Academics and Soldiers who restrain and attempt to heal and cure Monsters.
The Knights of Saint George - A territorial Cooperative of catholics who act without any formal sanction from the church to keep St. Mary's county safe,
Barrack Y - A philosophical co-op comprised of active and retired members of the Maryland State Police and civilian personnel who investigate crimes unsolvable by official means.
Aidos - A philosophical Cooperative of scientists who seek to unlock the knowledge within and possessed by monsters,
Secret Barony - A Prey Cooperative of medieval style knights who claim to be the legitimate descendants of the disregarded title of Lord Baltimore
Diamondback Order - A territorial cooperative of student and faculty occultists who protect the University of Maryland
Monster Response Agency - An NPC faction, this Prey cooperative seeks out those monsters who would use sex and manipulation to corrupt men.
Office of Exonormal Studies - An NPC faction, this group is a small and underfunded subdivision of the Federal Bureau of Investigation
SMIT RAR - An NPC faction, the Southern Maryland Industrial Technologies Resource Acquisition and Retention Group is a Defense Contractor with an unhealthy interest in the paranormal

RE: Coming in 2016 - Bump in the Night
If people don't like the larger Cooperatives, they need not join one. They are the "covenant" level organization to the Posse, which is the "coterie" level. Being in a Cooperative gives you access to benefits akin to Mystery Cult Initiation, being in a Posse lets you share merits like Safe Place and Stockpile (a custom merit).
Also, within the hour I should have a brief blurb for all of our premade factions up for perusal.

RE: Improving MSB
I down voted you ITT because you have more Internet points than me, @coin.

@Pyrephox Unlike a standard CofD game like Vampire or Mage, it shouldn't really matter if a group is entirely absent. The PC cooperatives are at best mildly antagonistic
You mean at worst, right?
At most. That is the more accurate phrase.

RE: Coming in 2016 - Bump in the Night
Next question: How many pre-generated player factions do you guys think is a good number? To date, we have 6, with ideas for a seventh.

RE: Coming in 2016 - Bump in the Night
Question for the peanut gallery: How do folks feel about having access to pre-built characters? As in, stats and basic sheet done, with, say, maybe a few points left around for customization? Obviously gender and personality would be left mostly blank.
