RE: Favorite music streaming service?
If it's not an audiobook I'm listening to the radio, but most likely the local college station with no commercials

RE: Let's talk about TS.
And it's easy to make a trigger that automatically does a +interest/ts <whoever just walked in the room> just like one of those swipe left meat robots for Tinder

RE: Good TV
I believe both the Expanse and Dark Matter suffered from the same problem. SyFy didn't actually make them, they just bought the broadcast rights or some such (I know Dark Matter was this way and think I read the same about the Expanse). They got zero revenue from streaming so it was harder to justify the expense. If that's true they should probably figure out how to actually not make garbage in house so they can feed out of the streaming trough like everyone else.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
@calindra that may be how they sign their name? Anything can be a signature as long as its consistently producible

RE: Selira's Playlist
@deadempire It's too late. They know all the terrible things already.

RE: Wheel of Time MU(SH|X)
Dice system pretty well sorted out.
Cloud IDE setup and seems to be working as well so I can poke at stuff on lunch breaks too

RE: Spoilers
@thatguythere said in Spoilers:
two weeks as a good general rule since most people who are excited to see something tend to get there in that time
This is why cam rips are a thing. Two weeks really isn't enough time for a lot of people with kids and having to find a sitter around extra curricular activities going on 7 days a week outside of work and school.

RE: What is your turning point?
Inability to keep IC drama IC is a big one. I recent had to cut down/stop RPing with someone over it. I didn't want to deal with it and it wasn't healthy for them.

RE: What is your turning point?
Unless all I want to do is BarRp then scheduled RP is a must.

RE: Humble Bundle: Digital Ocean Credit
@faraday ah, damn fine print.
But new folks at least!

Humble Bundle: Digital Ocean Credit
For folks running games/wanting to run a game off of Digital Ocean:
The Python Dev Kit humble bundle currently includes a $50 Digital Ocean credit if you pay $16.38 or more
And you get some python resources. Not sure how good they are.

RE: How did you discover your last three MU* ?
A few months ago I spent about half an hour with the help of half a dozen other people trying to help someone new to MUSHing (came from forum RP i think) to understand the concept of a room and grid. They never did figure it out before they decided it wasn't for them.
Sometimes it's just.. hard to figure out the right terms for people.

I'm halfway through Skullsworn by Brian Staveley.
I just finished listening to the audiobook of this. Narrator was awesome, book was very well done. Superior to the trilogy books in my opinion. Excellent interpretation of Death worship too that I may steal someday if I ever do a fantasy setting.

When someone asks me more than once for a scene and then stands me up. Why you do this?
@surreality said in What is your turning point?:
Consistently disrespecting my time. This means not bothering to ever tell me if you're not going to show up, or making plans only to blow them off to go chase someone else.
These. Wasting my time. RL happens and so being stood up happens, that's fine. Have the courtesy afterwards to apologize and maybe even try to reschedule.
I've mentioned it before but I had someone ask for a scene, stand me up, ask for one the next day.. and then stand me up while dark so they could ask my alt for RP instead. That was an instant add to the No Play list.

RE: In development: pure OC superhero game
Fate. I have seen DFRPG repurposed for a superhero game on tabletop.
