Kudos to Tehom, a feature request I put in was implemented within an hour... that's pretty responsive.

The issue in particular was that I had a private +event in (which don't show up on +events for anyone except those invited) but someone else put a big political +event later on (with possible ties to the metaplot) an hour before mine. Although "there's too many things to do!" is a really nice problem to have, it still sucks for players to have to choose which one to attend one day and have none the next.

The reason I'd only play Force Users in SW games is simple: Everything else I can play just about anywhere. Lovable rogues? Furry monsters with rage issues? Got that covered.

There's only one real way to play a goddamn Jedi/Sith with a freakin' lightsaber, though.

I finally found a core exercise I really liked... and probably overdid it. I gave it several days to rest after soreness settled in and yesterday - searing pain in the right side of my stomach on the first rep.

I'll go to a doctor this weekend but this sucks. Best case scenario it'll probably push me back weeks. Meh.

There are two issues with paying for rare things.

1. Enough people want to be unique snowflakes so the things you'd like to be rare might end up not really being that. For example one could end up with too many Seers in a Mage sphere when it's unintended - yet arbitrarily limiting them after the fact ("sorry, no more apps!") makes it look bad in all the usual ways (" @lordbelh got in because he's TSing @Bobotron!).
2. It's really hard to find the sweet spot between having the special thing people pay for being so good it makes up for the cost (Seers have access to special Rotes, no Paradox, cool Legacies, etc) or having to castrate the thing to maintain balance, leading to unthematic results ("wait, I thought people became Seers because of the cool stuff they get? All I got was this t-shirt!").

Otherwise it's not a bad idea.

@ThugHeaven Sorry to hear about your wrist! I hope you feel better.

Although I curse IKEA every second I'm putting stuff together (at least at first, I've found if I'm doing several pieces in a row the last few become much simpler), my biggest issue with them is if I have to move and the furniture won't fit through the door.

Putting them together is a smaller issue. Taking them apart might be a much bigger one if I plan to use them again after that.

How do they open this locked door? Clearly they need to pick one one of them up and use his head as a battering ram to break through.

And they had the nerve to ask me if they could try it! Motherfuckers, once you brought it up I wouldn't have it any other way.

Is the Insta Pot as good as advertised? What do you do with it?

It's like Marvel meets Twin Peaks and it has Aubrey Plaza. I'm a happy camper.

It was excellent, I really liked it. I hope they can keep it up though - one of the issues non-Netflix shows have is they need to offer something every week, they can't afford to build and wait for a big payoff since current ratings matter so much. So I hope it doesn't go back to one of the tried-and-crappy monster of the week formulas.

If they pull it off it will be fantastic.

I admit to both loving him in DD S2 but not being super interested in his own solo series.

I kinda sorta feel that way about Iron Fist.

I have the feeling (and I hope I'm wrong) it'll be the first Netflix/Marvel series I won't really like. Obviously I'll watch it anyway, though.

I played during launch but at max level things were pretty rudimentary... and almost all instances' boss fights were basic tank and spank, etc.

Everything about that series worked for me. I think even M.K.'s actor's acting... I couldn't tell if his sullen, short-breathed lines' delivery was him being bad or what the role required. And because I couldn't tell it was probably fine.
