I took Home Economics in school. Mainly because the class I really wanted (wood shop - I"m so girly) was full. They never instructed me on how to date. I did learn my fear of the sewing machine (I'm over it now) in there. I learned how to properly measure dry ingredients. I learned what to sub them for. I learned how to take care of a baby (maybe that was health class). However, no one ever instructed me on how to date. #IMustBeOld

RE: RL Anger
You know... I've been given worse advice to be honest. I remember in HS one of my friends told me if I wanted to get a boy to like me, I should date his friend. That way he would notice me and be jealous.
So really ... most dating advice sucks to begin with. I get where some of it comes from. Like don't put yourself down. It's uncomfortable for people in general around someone doing this. Don't waste his money. Well we are taught to order the salad, take two bites and that's it. We should eat before or after the date; so in context that's better than it has been, etc.
I'm more put off a bit that someone in a school would be giving my child dating advice, not really what it is. What if I don't want my child dating yet? Or what if they are a late bloomer and this just makes them more self-conscious? All in all. I'm not angry at it, even if I don't fully agree with it either.

Found the skin care set I'd wanted over the holidays for half-off today. I had gotten a sample of the brand's moisturizer a while back and looooooved it (most moisturizer feels too oily / heavy for me)... so now I have like, a full skincare set.
...which is probably good for my skin since I've been like, washing my face and that's it. >.>
And this product is?

I know I've probably said this before, but it's soooo damn cute. I love the after bath 'freakout' that dogs do.

When people use the word masseuse.
It's not anger. I just groan a bit and have to fight the urge to say: It's massage therapist.

Because it's
the internetlife and it's impossible to remove anonymity or hold someone accountable for something they won't admit to.Fixed for you.
I find that people can do this in life. How many times has someone been like: What student/person/employee/family member/kitten has done X? Then no one steps forward. -
RE: Coming Soon: Arx, After the Reckoning
You know. I made a linkedin account like 7 years ago and haven't touched it since. I'm like that's just one more way of someone to creep on me and I don't like it.

I don't think I've deleted a comment. However, sometimes you type something or say something; then you realize was an ass you are being. Now when you say something, you can't take it back. Whereas you type something, you can delete it.
I don't think it's akin to the 'I'm not winning so delete', I think it's more that 'I didn't think out my comment and I regret making it so delete'. I can respect a person that realizes they were offensive/wrong/way off topic/not educated on the topic and deleted far more than people who let the anger/hatred/abuse/insult stand 'because they can'.

RE: The Secret Life of (Your) Pets
When my breed was little and would cry, my cat would come get me. He would run into the room and meow at me and then pull on my pant legs. If someone held the baby, the cat would jump up near them and stare at them until the baby was handed back to me. Animals are cool like that.

RE: Health and Wealth and GrownUp Stuff
I cut down my run plan to a mile a day. I'm content with this amount. Then I'm happy if I go over it. I'm going to probably up it in a month. Then we'll see how I'm feeling. I really just want to get to where I can run without heaving.

RE: Dealing with Staff
I feel like people here know more of the story on the jump on the person-ness going on. However, I would like to remind people that sometimes staffers are DICKS. We've run into them. We know they exist. So maybe this person is dealing with one of those.
So what do you do? You log any and all conversation. You deal in jobs and @mail. You tell them that you aren't really comfortable dealing with them without time to process what is being said and time to process your response. NEVER respond in a knee jerk fashion.
Really though, if you have an issue with a staff person it is best to leave the sphere of their influence. I mean you can ask if they are willing to talk it out with another neutral party to figure it out. That would be an adult thing to do, but if it's already at 'winning' or about who is right and who is wrong; at least one side is probably not wanting to sit down to do so.
Then you ask yourself. What are you getting from this game? If it's stress. Leave. Maybe go to another game.
TL;DR - It's hard to give specific advice to vague inquiries.

My only problem with my inhaler is this: My heart rate is already up because of the exercise. I'm worried if I take a hit to get my lungs to open, that it will speed it up more and I'll go into cardiac arrest or something.
Sidenote (and creepy sorry, not sorry): Greeks are hot.
