I have considered looking other places as well as in different states. It's just hard to also have the $$ to fund the move and packing.. .ugh.

It's not anger really so much as frustration. This whole put out a ton of applications like you are bleeding paper and not getting a response. It's killing me. I know others have been out of work and unable to collect unemployment (thanks non-profit employment), but can I just say UGH?
I'm trying to focus on putting out good vibes and remind myself others are homeless and other countries are worse. I am having a pity party though. I hate that. LOL.

I do not live in Austin or Texas at all. Have you tried meetup.com? I have used it in 'friend slumps' (when y'all are too busy or too sick of each other - haha) or when I've moved to a new city and didn't know people. It might be worth a try to find people of similar interests.

I actually use the bar on the machine because I rarely have a spotter. So I have never tried to pick one up off the ground. Now I want to though.

I had a friend that use to sleep wine drink and order off of Amazon. We would hide their car keys just in case. I took a half of a half of one (yeah I know) and the whole next day felt like I was drugged. I also had a conversation I don't remember with a person on the phone. They refused to tell me what I said too. They would just hysterically laugh.
Valerian oddly makes me hyper so does catnip tea which is supposed to be relaxing.

I bumped up my 30 minutes of cardio by a whole speed step on the treadmill tonight. Also started easy strength training.
I really just wanted to cheer for me. Still a loooooong way to go, but faster than being on the couch.

I think home economics should be how to run a house. It takes a lot of work (and I don't mean that sarcastically). You should learn about utilities (deposits, how to connect, what they look at what you need to know), basic home repair (leaky sink, backed up toilet, backed up sink, repairs), when filters need to be changed in your heating and cooling, what you need to set up a kitchen/home (and how much that is going to cost), sewing, cooking, basic first aid, budgeting, etc.
There is a lot of work in running one, not to mention how to get one. They should also have a finance class about Roth IRAs, investments, how retirement works, etc. I think back to all the life skills I didn't really have/understand when I turned 18 and moved out on my own. For example, I knew nothing of my tenant rights or renter's insurance. I didn't know why I needed it or I was liable for. I didn't understand car insurance really and how to shop around for it, etc.
So of course, I try to prepare everyone growing up in my life. This includes why taxes are held from your paycheck and what percentage they are held from, etc.
