@auspice I bought it recently. I'm down for multiplayer but playing it solo felt kinda boring to me. So I have no time in it.

@tinuviel I can't elaborate but the dog is fine.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
I have the flu and there is dog blood all over my room.
And that's not even what has me feeling like shit. RL sucks.

RE: General Video Game Thread
@auspice I wouldn't pay more than 5 bucks for it. I beat it in like an hour.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
@paris That's a shame that people behave like that. I wonder if that would happen to you in Austin. People walk down the sidewalk in costumes or lingerie all the time and nobody even seems to notice.

@arkandel Fire Emblem isn't technically an RPG (it is a strategy game) but I definitely recommend it.
And Dragon Quest Builders (I believe that is on Switch as well.)

RE: Spirit Lake - Discussion
@scissors If you can find like-minded people to share the cost then it is basically only peanuts per person.

I've got no dog in the fight but I would suggest you guys give it another 24 hours. You might go 'over capacity' but people will drop as those who don't click slide off the game.

RE: Want To Move to Austin?
I'm looking to move into a three or four bedroom house myself, as well. The more the merrier, I say.

@arkandel Yeah, I got hit by the Salem breach... and the Ticketfly one a while back.
It's good to use different passwords for -everything-. I'd be worried if I didn't.

RE: Want To Move to Austin?
I've had zero responses to this post so maybe I should widen the net. Have a friend or family member that doesn't do drugs who needs a place to go? Someone abused by a spouse or loved one? As long as there are no kids or pets involved I have room for you.
I'd really like to get someone as soon as possible (due to my lease ending in June and my desire to actually rent/lease a house instead of an apartment when it ends) and I hate resorting to Craigslist or other 'official' avenues because you get so many fake sob stories and people just trying to take advantage of the situation.
If it's safety you're worried about, I can point you to a couple other members of the community I deal with RL on a semi-regular basis who can attest that I own no murder-axes. So hit me up.

I once broke my nose mowing the yard. I also cracked all my toes opening a drawer. If an accident can happen to me it will. I have abysmal luck.

Want To Move to Austin?
It's about that time for me to post something like this again. Rather than digging up the old post (Because I am lazy, so lazy) I will start fresh.
My current roommate (who I imported from here/MU*dom) is doing well in Austin. She is employed and has an active social life. The first experiment has proven to be a success so I'd like to give it another go.
I am potentially looking for someone to sleep in the living room for a few weeks/months until they can get their own place or other group apartment arrangements can be made. (Unless the roommate should suddenly do an about face and be against the idea. I don't see this happening though.)
I won't be charging any rent and will provide free food/internet for as long as it takes to find you a job. As with my current roommate I can probably get you a job in security should you have a clean criminal background check. It's easy work and good for those who have issues with other forms of employment.
We are full up on pets at the moment (unfortunately) with a dog and a cat so the complex will allow no other pets.
All I ask for is moderate hygiene and a willingness to try.
If you're interested drop me a PM on here. I will discuss things with the roommate and we can go from there.
Edit to add: Gender doesn't matter. Just don't try one of those 'sex for lodgings' things.

RE: Vampire: The Masquerade 5th Edition (VtM 5E)
What I've read of Modiphius has not been... promising. Their Star Trek material in particular was eye-twitchingly bad.
Not to mention their hiring practices. Looking at you, Gareth Skarka.

RE: Poll: Are MU* video games?
Any game you can play without a visual component doesn't qualify to me as a video game.

RE: Real World Peeves, Disgruntlement, and Irks.
Me: I want this other shift when it opens up. I've been here a while and I have seniority, not to mention I have to perform many of this shift's tasks on my shift due to people being hired not knowing how to do it.
Supervisor: Sure! I'll let you know when it opens.
Spot opens. I am told "Well, you're doing such a good job on your shift that we can't move you. Ever. This is your life now. But here's a 25 cent raise over the rate increase everyone is getting as compensation."
Me: ...

RE: Name a MU
Why can't you just called it "Magicians MUX'? Names don't need to be fancy. Nobody is going to remember the flowery version. If the name tells people what it is that will be enough to draw them in. In a crowded field with multiple other MU*s like World of Darkness then you should use a unique name but if you're the only game in town... flaunt it.

RE: Good TV
I'm sure Disney will bring back all the series. Sanitized, of course. They'll remove much of the violence. Maybe even throw in a crossover where Mickey Mouse and the gang help save the day.
That's right, FUCK YOU KINGDOM HEARTS! FUCK YOU TO DEATH.
cough Okay I feel better now.

RE: Good TV
Hulu is a dollar a month for the first year if you get it before the 26th or so.
