Unless it's a different person every week, at which point, it's really not worth an aspiration. But yeah.
Why not? If I were a Daeva that wanted to hop into bed with every neonate I saw, why should it not be an aspiration to do so?

The "get laid" example, also, has reasoning. Did your character just break up with someone and their friends convince them that the best way to get over someone is to get under someone else? Then "get laid" is an excellent Aspiration. It furthers character progression. But if the character runs around getting laid all the time, then it's worthless, there's no progression, no reason for it to be an Aspiration.
Precisely.
I had such as aspiration, but it was "get laid by <X>." Wanting to lay up a particular person seems to be the epitome of a "short-term aspiration."

Are aspirations going back into play? They're currently not in play there. (Sorry for the derail, but that's something you may need/want to address.)
Last time I checked, yes.

What was Eldritch's system? And I thought that XP from PRPs was capped at 2 a week, as well, and Aspirations were removed?
You could get Beats from STing and PRPs, but your weekly XP gain slowed as you got more XP.

I'll say that I've been on Reno for almost a year or so now, and my sheet looks nowhere NEAR that example, at 2xp a week. My character is strong, but there's simply no way that I could have afforded to buy as much as the sheet presented had. Is this showing the effects of the 2XP for PRPS a week, in addition to the 2xp a week flat base? Otherwise I'm inclined to call shenanigans.
It's not shenanigans; it's just someone who's planning on focusing their XP spends in a place where there are no limitations to what you can raise (just a limitation on how quickly).
Remember: CoD is a linear XP progression system, not an exponential one. It is a feature, not a bug, and one that I have already griped about ad nauseam. Simply, 50 XP can result in a beast of a PC to start with, unless you implement caps.
Eldritch's system works well. On Reno, we are capping weekly XP gain via code. XP gained via Aspirations or PRPs is not capped. So, basically, once you're over a threshold, the weekly XP gain shuts off, unless we decide to raise the caps.

This may be, but Kanye has yet to make any attempt to revise or clarify their statements. They have called me a bitch multiple times. That sort of rejoinder is consistent with my reading of Kanye's statements as an indicator of personality and social expectations.
To be fair, it is likely unreasonable to expect every comment posted on this board to be as reasoned and fair as you might consider yours to be. Plus, possessing an attitude or mindset of entitlement and self-righteousness is not the same as being generally boorish; many millennials, for instance, are quite genial, despite their beards.
The only difference between this forum and a Trump rally, mostly, is that people here aren't fearing for their safety for neither goose-stepping nor straight-arm raising their hand in support.

The sense of entitlement is walking into a room and trying to enter a scene without making any attempt to ascertain if the scene is open or even what time of day it is in the narrative, and it is compounded by "entering" the scene with a non-interactive pose which places the burden of including the random new person on everybody else there. @Kanye-Qwest insists on no OOC communication.
I think you may be taking Kanye's comments too literally. My understanding is that he/she meant that there would be no OOC communication regarding whether or not he/she may enter the room and attempt to participate.
Sometimes, I enter a public room where there's RP going on, and I politely state that I'll make my entering pose a couple of poses down the line. I didn't ask the existing players where I could join or not, and it is reasonable to presume that I could if the scene was taking place in a public room. If my inclusion is inappropriate or unwanted, it is reasonable to presume that the existing participants would inform me of that and take their RP elsewhere. As you will likely concur, expecting people to take private scenes in a public place to a +temproom is reasonable.
I may have misread Kanye entirely, but I did not infer from his/her comments that he/she would wander in and fire off an ignorant pose.

Smart entities have learned to survive among dumb entities for a long time. That's what the smart entity next to me said anyway.
That's not what I said. What I said was, "Destroy Unicron; kill the Grand Poobah; eliminate even the toughest stains."

Again, the real issue here is my lack of familiarity with the setting. I have no trouble being active to find RP (or, have never had an issue with this before) but my preferred style is the kind that happens organically - that just never seems to happen without an IC grid people want to hang out on more than the OOC rooms. Then, when I have a good feel for characters in my newly-known group, I can come up with a plot that helps advance them/appeals to their chars or personalities. That's the storytelling I like.
This is my preference as well, so I tend to hang out on the Grid whenever I'm connected. I usually connect when I'm RP-okay, but I usually RP from work, and work sometimes invades.
I play James, so feel free to come by wherever I am or page me if you want to RP something.
