You should incentivize whatever you want to see more of in your game/app/activity. If you want people to play with your code and get addicted to advancement...you code in rewards. If you want to foster a big community where people rp outside their usual circles so that new people can be incorporated, you incentivize that. HOW is open for debate and suggestion, but should you? For sure.
Feel your feelings! But at the end of the day, staff/storytellers are the custodians of the world and the story, and if they want to put a limit on the # of amputees, I figure it's because they have a high level overview and don't want new players coming in to be like "whoah, is this game haunted by npc goblins who come at night and consume limbs?"
Random shoutout to @Apos, who did a bunch of reading on his own when I was diagnosed, just trying to learn what to do to help someone with ADHD. Since then, he's been on top of cleaning up and clearing clutter away so that it doesn't overwhelm me.

find a podcast, seriously. "Sleep with me" is a good one, it's a guy reading very bland news stories in a very bland voice. No lights, just enough distraction to keep your mind from racing off.
Yeah ADHD people often have trouble disconnecting and going to sleep, and then we don't always get good sleep while we ARE asleep - not to mention the mental fatigue that comes from constantly trying to refocus attention and castigating yourself and being anxious about all the things you are letting slip. IDK all the science behind it, but it is definitely a symptom.
@Sparks i had nearly the exact same experience. ritalin gave me a RAGING headache as soon as the effect started slipping. The 2nd dose didn't make a dent in it. The adderall is a night and day difference. I occasionally get a little bit of headache as the 2nd wears off, but if I make sure to drink enough water it rarely happens - and even then a little advil knocks it out easily.
It is life changing. It hasn't really stopped me from having my executive function problems, but that has to be done with CBT, and I know this. What it DOES is give me the ability to focus, and to feel like I am awake and present in my life. You wouldn't usually think "constant sleepiness" is a symptom of ADHD, but man.
I set out my first dose and set an alarm for an hour before I have to be up. I take it, and go back to sleep until an hour later when my second alarm goes off and it's at peak effect in my bloodstream. I can just hop out of bed and start my day, and I don't even NEED coffee, really. It's amazing.

Is this an ADD thing? I wasn't diagnosed until grad school, but I've always done this for all sorts of things and it never occurred to me until this moment that it might not just be 'normal'. >_>
Yes. You develop an array of coping skills because...you have to. When I was diagnosed, the doctor talkeda bout it, and she bet if I'd been tested as a kid my scores would have been much more extreme. There's a test where they attach an eye tracker/head tracker and make you do a tedious attention game and I was looking away and back with a shake of my head every couple of seconds - that's something I do to refocus on what is in front of me.
My dad's not a bad guy, really. He fucked up pretty spectacularly, but who doesn't? He's quit drinking, and it has changed a lot about him.
I am still struggling since my diagnosis. I am not really better at time management, or accomplishing things I need to get done, as I am old and changing behaviour and habits is hard and takes forever.
But.
It has helped me immensely to have a Neuroscience doctor tell me : You are not just lazy. Your brain is atypical.
I went through all the usual ADHD inattentive struggles, including the time my dad called me a 'worthless N-", and when I looked confused he clarified it had nothing to do with race. It was just what you called someone who was "lazy and worthless".
I am 300% in favor of adding pages to the web portal.
Every game ever allows admin to look at pages, if they want to, as you said.

how is that shaming people for caring? I care, I thought it was devestating to see ND burning. I posted in another thread 'god I hope so' about the structure of Notre Dame being saved.

DA2 was, objectively, a bad 'game'. It was rushed, they ran out of budget/time for new areas, new encounters...basically everything was a cut corner EXCEPT the most important parts of a bioware game, to me. The story, and the characters.
Varric Tethras is a perfect porcelain kitten and I will never hear otherwise. Isabella was amazing. Aveline was amazing. Their development was amazing. Fenris was wonderful. Merril was wonderful. The DLC prince dude was completely forgettable, your siblings were whatever, and Anders was there, too. Purple Hawke was amazing. Any other Hawke was...but why. Why would you do that?
@Tinuviel yes, because CC tips are easier to audit. If you tip in cash, servers can under report their earnings for their income tax. Which yes, fine, illegal, but our entire economy should be illegal.

I mean. Tipping culture is horrible bullshit and its roots are extremely racist. I'd much rather people be paid a living wage for their work, but I'd also rather we not be murdering the planet and that people had to test regularly to be able to give their opinions outside clearly delineated playpens.
