    • RE: Rate A Concept

      Vault Hunters:

Taking place on Pandora, players are all visiting vault hunters, looking to make their mark and get their fortune.

They soon find out it is a hellish nightmare world where New You(I know New You isn't canon, but I think the setting works better where it is) technology means nobody actually dies, and eventually devolve into savagery.

I think the WoD system might work for this, or some other one that's better at run n gun PrPs with a similar system to the Vampire humanity scores being used. You might die, but you're re-digitized at a nearby station, as are all those mooks you've killed. Fortunately, once someone loses all their humanity, their ability to learn and remember doesn't go past a trip through New You. If a PC loses all their humanity, the effectively become static NPCs.

Didn't one of the show runners say they had Arya kill the night king specifically because nobody had called that, and they just wanted to surprise people? Like, if that's how you write your stories, you should totally brace for impact and not complain.

My characters are always Gabriel Byrne, Joan Jett or Helen Mirin. Really, what more do you need?

@Ghost I like that. I was actually thinking of using something like Arkham Horror as the basis for the colony, with each week being like a game turn, the portals opening up to show places that are infested etc. Then have players do PrPs to close the portals and reclaim portions of the colony. It's only when all the portals are closed that they're able to focus on repairing the ship to get off the planet.

yay, went 0 to mux with hopefully minimal screwups.. I did use the wrong link for digital ocean, so I don't think glitch got a credit.

Anyways, time for Platinum Blonde IN SPAAAAACE!

Sorry, theno, it's not running on my old phone, I never did get that working.

I don't get the hate that Witcher 2 gets, it was a fun game with a cool story.

WoT had some pretty cool monsters in it, but oh my god, I wanted to murder all of the protagonists in every way possible!

Succession is awesome and I loved Euphoria. Zendaya's acting was heart breaking.

Succession is FUCKING BANANAS and I love it. I was turned off by the 'family drama about rich people' concept that felt really overdone but then I realized it was well-acted and darkly funny and 150% insane, so I will ride with this.

I started it on this recommendation, I agree, wealth porn is overdone, but this show's pretty funny. It's like a dryer Arrested Development.

My biggest issue at the moment is I think I went too far with the 0 to mux steps and I think it will interfere with installing fs3.

That, and trying to figure out just what an Arcturan is. We need our Arcturan poontang, after all.

    • RE: Good or New Movies Review

SW:ROS direly needed subtle dice noises added to the musical scores. I think if they went all in with the random encounter theme, it could easily be my favourite star wars movie yet.
