@Silver So, it's going to change. Based on the trailers, I don't see how Batman vs Superman could possibly do well, it looks awful!

RE: RL things I love
This probably makes me a horrible person, but watching the last few weeks of Reddit melting down has been very entertaining during a slow period at work. It reminds me of that old shit storm Serenity went through a few years back.

I love donjon so much. I totally forgot about AD&D's prostitute generator.

RE: Desc Help?
I like the basics. Purple walls of text usually get summed up with what colour hair they are and what they're armed with. If a description is more than 10 lines, that's too much.

RE: Witcher MUSH Brainstorm (SPOILERS)
Yeah, 1 only got good once you got out of the city. But if you have 20 hours to kill it isn't bad. 2 is awesome, though.

RE: Witcher MUSH Brainstorm (SPOILERS)
Just finished it last night, I'm really happy with it, the setting was so well realized, it felt like an actual world rather than just a game background.

@*&^ plantar fasciitis.
Ug, it's the worst! I've only just gotten over mine after like 2 years. First it was tendonitis in both of my achilles, then, because I was walking funny for 3 months, I got PF.
Jogging. Never again.

And all my neat pants will fit me again.
Or, your thighs will become muscular and no pants will ever fit properly again. But I suppose that's a good kind of problem to have. Shorts are where it's at anyways.

So here is my deal: I like random meetups, but I have found that VERY often once there are 3-4 people in some public place, I get inundated with people coming in, who are attracted by the people already present, but who don't want to be part of that scene. So they bring in new times of day, varied posing rates and IC time coverage, along with all their antics, and pretty much destroy what I was doing, and move on.
Ug, this used to happen all the time on KOTOR. I like 2-3 person scenes the best, things can move at a decent clip. But then a whole faction descends once someone realizes there's public rp going on and it turns into a word salad with people yelling at me OOC for skipping them in pose order when they're not even interacting with me or the people I'm rping with.

STOP idling in public IC rooms people! I hate that.
I know, right? I love getting reamed out for posing in a public grid room for disturbing someone's idling.

RE: PreMade Grids and Code (Clone Wars Game)
@Soresu There's Dahan's d6 floating around at mushcode.com, also Faraday's system is pretty good for things like starwars, and it's pretty much plug and play, you just have to edit out the battlestar references and put in star wars ones.

@Silver If it feels anything like waxing, then, as someone who used to live with eczema, I think it might be blissful. Not quite as satisfying as clawing my skin off, but up there with scalding. I'm so glad my skin cleared up.

People that nosell legitimate arguments because they have a 60 year old anecdote. FFS, the world has changed since the goddamned 50s! Teachers have a giant shit show to deal with these days compared to back in the punic wars!

Now its starting to sound like Harry Potter but with tits, swords, and monsters.... Hm.
Every time you TS with someone you have to give them a sexy trading card?

RE: Dark Metal - Still Up
Strange, I always thought Dark Metal was a battletech mush for some reason.
I do like your new policy for supporting player run troupes, though.

RE: Witcher MUSH Brainstorm (SPOILERS)
Fair enough. I think that the mages would want to internally police themselves rather than allow outsiders to dictate what they do. Or, if they did allow some sort of oversight committee, it would have to be toothless for them to agree to it, so that they could ignore them when it suited them. All of the mages in the witcher have been extremely arrogant.

As for curbing Sorcerer/Sorceress power. I could imagine an organization just for that. With the revitalization of the Lodge at the end of the Witcher 3, I could see the Emperor imposing some kind of rule that they MUST be policed. Thus leading to a kind of police organization that specializes in dealing with unruly magic users. Kind of like the Templar from Dragon Age. Almost kind of another Witcher type concept, but instead of monsters they deal with Mages.
Don't the Redanian witch hunters already fill that role? They seemed to have been able to bring the lodge to its knees pretty handily in W3.

RE: Witcher MUSH Brainstorm (SPOILERS)
While playing through the witcher, I've been taking notes for my warhammer fantasy campaign. The two worlds have a lot of similar things going on.

I think I'd just be happy with someone who didn't insist on going to a fucking farmer's market on D&D day. We can go shopping any day of the week, but you have to have a fit because I don't want to go during the six hours out of the week I have set aside for something I like to do?
I can't believe I've dated two different people like this. Best breakups of my life.

One that makes it largely inaccessible to a novice programmer. Or basically, if you have no idea what I just said, don't use Evennia.
Yup, I was pretty excited to hear about Evennia, and give it a try, but not understanding what anyone was saying seemed to be my big block with it. Getting a hand with mush softcode, strangely, seemed much easier.
