I find changing the background colour itself can help, though it also can mess with some games' colouring. When I use a terminal console (tf and the like) I prefer a Solarized theme to almost anything else.
So perhaps changing the black background to something a little less contrasting will help ease of reading?

I'm possibly in a minority here but I really prefer having "work clothes." Even without a dress code, I wear business casual clothes to work, and I exceptionally rarely wear them at any other time. It really helps build up a big strong wall between 'work' and 'personal' time that I'm otherwise terrible at maintaining.

@insomniac7809 There are definitely lots of older, traditional institutions that need a change but no politician - no authority figure of any kind really - wants to disrupt the system that put and kept them in power.

Doesn't even need to be a warzone. Apathy is just as harmful to development as outright hostility. Though I doubt I'm saying anything new.

Honestly, trying to set up automatic voter registration in a country of some... 300 million or so people sounds like a logistical nightmare and we're already crazy in debt.
Issue social security number, register person to vote, taking effect 18 years from date of birth. Done.
There is no reason not to do this except for vote disenfranchisement.
And before anyone says "omg but what about updating things when people move..."
Make that the voter's responsibility.
I mean I'd also make voting compulsory, with fines for failure to attend voting places (or submit mail votes), and so forth... but that'd never work. Except where it does.

Chances are... no it doesn't. It needs to be taught by parents.
Parents and teachers are a team that should, hopefully, print out a functional and stable human being at the end of the process. We're not simply a factory for turning children into gentlepersons with eloquence and good regard for their neighbour.
We teach, you raise. Simples.

@macha In situations like this, good grace and decorum go right out the window. You send those screenshots to his workplace, you give those screenshots to your local law enforcement branch, you post them on your social media if you're so inclined. These kinds of people only thrive because of the shadows they're in.
