A looong time ago I met a girl on a MU, turns out her Aunt lived 2 blocks away from my grandparents. So we met up, and we had a thing for a while, not entirely official but I had FEELINGS and many a nice vacation up in the boonies. A lot of very fond memories.

@Tinuviel Thats part of what I am debating internally right now. Just how much control to give. I really like the idea of writing up a solid history, influences, motivations etc, make an outline, and just give it to the players, but having a few control points might be a good idea ass well.

@Ghost They will be an Antagonist faction so they are unlikely to just give people things, but if they do, there is definitely a high cost.

But you are right, a lot of folks wanna run PRP's where they always win, and this Family is intended to both lose and win, back and forth. Because a Villian that is used as a constant punching bag is boring. The hope is to set them up in a way that is interesting enough that people might get invested in the villains too. Want to see them win, just for the chance to bring them back down again.

Perhaps invest certain members with 'Plot armor'.

Cops and Clergy and most other organizations in the game are corrupt, it is WoD After all. You mentioned Gotham, and that's about how secure our prisons are... >_>

@Coin I admit I am not great at those 'point systems' like you describe them, coupld you elaborate a bit more? In my head, the Plots, the laws that they might pass, the factions they might seek to undermine and control...

Like I am thinking at the beginning, one of these guys is the Mayor.

My other hobbies rarely allow for this level of creative story outlet and interactivity.

Secondly, I just dont comprehend people just... abandoning their animals. Like wtf, too much trouble? I have cancelled vacations rather than leave my Lily alone. Some people just dont deserve pets.

@fatefan I dunno, spirit PC's could be cool AF, many of them seemed fairly limited in power, imagine them interacting with this 'modern world' after 10,000 years separate. Make a template for 'playable spirits' of around the same power level as a bender and it could be fun.

@Thenomain Now i was just thinking about official PRP's, the extension that this could just be used to X-Card out other peoples character traits... sounds like a step way too far. (not that that was what you were suggesting, just a thought that crossed my mind re: smoking)

So I'm almost done with Korra and i want to say that one thing that I enjoy muchly is that goths are essentially canon.

@ganymede @Pyrephox yeah i dont get the major cramps at night anymore, only int he pool. I might try the gatorade thing, they have a 0 sugar one now.

Re: Sweating and not feeling it. Thats the whole reason i swim. i can push myself and not feel like I am dying. It's been amazing for my health and motivation to keep working out. having a gym nearby with a pool open at 2am is great too.
