My whole life I've bought functional cars. Cars that go from point A to point B but with nothing else to them.
I bought my first 'I want this thing because it is shiny!' car on Wednesday. I don't think I can ever go back to blandmobiles.
And yes, for those of you who make a lot of money, this isn't a high end mega car. But it's mine. :3

So uh... two hours of State of Decay 2 played.
The game is pretty meaty. I can see where it would really shine in co-op.
I like it so far, but I just hope there's no 'shit gets worse when you're offline' mechanic like the original seemed to have.
Logging in to a nearly dead base was kind of lame.

The passing of a good doggo leaves a hole to be filled with another good doggo deserving of a good home.
That's the only way I can cope with the loss of pets. The knowledge that now that my pet is gone, I can give another animal who needs it the same love.

State of Decay 2 is coming out soon. (The ultimate edition whatsit actually unlocks tonight.)
I bring this up because...
1.) State of Decay 1 was fantastic.
2.) It will have Xbox and PC cross-platform play.
I bought it, of course. And would love to try some co-op if anyone's interested.
P.S. - It is only 30 bucks for the regular edition and looks fantastic from the trailers and Let's Plays.
I don't download anything. My phone thing gives me free unlimited streaming, so I just use my spotify.
@arkandel It works better if you pick an individual song. The 'similar artists' tends to be very narrow.
But you can shape and grow your playlists as you go. And with premium, you can do a lot more than just shuffle play.
You can also do custom playlists as well, with it. Just change the setting to 'repeat playlist' when it ends instead of continuing on with suggested songs.
Spotify, all the way. I pay for the premium account because I use it all the time. Absolutely fantastic and I never have to buy music anymore. (Or pirate it, cough cough)
Fox cancels Brooklyn 99 and picks up Tim Allen drek. The Roseanne Effect is in play. Every network will want a conservative comedy show now.
I went to the car company to lease a new car. As my lease was ending late this month.
We negotiate, they quote me a reasonable price on a nicer car than I am driving now.
A week later, I talk to them again.
Them: "Oh, we're sorry. Your credit just took a ding. We have to up our rates on you."
Me: "You are why it went down. You ended my account and took my credit from 744 to 737. You can't just go back on our deal."
Them: "Pray we do not alter the agreement further!"
Me: "Bye, Felicia."
Then they do a hard credit check on me. After all of this. BAM. Another 8 points on my credit score. These assholes hit my credit for 15 points. FML.
I don't think anyone's let down. It was a way for people to revisit old characters and people got to do that. I didn't stick around because I didn't feel like I meshed well there, but those who did enjoyed themselves.

I've repeatedly pitched the same sitcom idea to my roommate. She refuses to fly to Hollywood and get it made.
It will star Danny DeVito as Frank Reynolds, Kevin Spacey as Frank Underwood, and William H. Macy as Frank Gallagher.
The three main characters will live in an apartment in the bad part of town and plot various ways to get ahead in life.
I call this show...

I recently discovered my company was billing the client I work under for... let's just say multiple days worth of coverage that was not provided. Math-wise it added up to a nice little chunk of money, at least for someone at my income level.
I brought it up with my supervisor and he threatened my job, essentially. So I took it to the client.
My supervisor is no longer employed. I really dodged the bullet. That could have gone really, really bad for me.
