Other thing is if you are just rattling off tons of information there is a VERY REAL possibility that our systems? Haven't loaded jack and shit yet. So you rattling off information with us having no way to do a damned thing with anything yet?

That's wasting /our/ time, and /your/ time. Just because you can spew out information doesn't mean all of it is helpful either.

We aren't all robots like @Ganymede and to treat us like one isn't doing you any favors.

@apu I love the old games like that, rogue was so much fun, when you died your next play through you could run into your old characters ghost, no real graphics to speak of but imagination.

@ghost What solves that? A GM willing to say 'No'. It's something nearly every successful game needs. I have a lot more, but not going to derail this further.

@insomnia Dungeons II is a solid pick up especially for free, it might not be for everyone but I found it fun. Kind of like a newer version of Dungeon Keeper in a way. Not the same, but... man I would love an upgraphic'd Dungeon Keeper...

I don't think we're poo pooing on anything, at least, I am not. I think the advertisement thread is a good place to let people know what kind of characters are being played there, as has been said before about what 'versions' of characters are in game. There is a lot of DC versions to go around, alternate realities, tv shows, etc. Unless we're not allowed to talk about anything that may be construed negatively at all on an Advertisement thread?

In which case, they should all be locked down completely except to edit initial post by the author because, how do we judge what /everyone/ will find negative? But that, is definitely a discussion for another thread.

@cupcake I quite enjoyed Wakanda Q in Black Mirror as well. But, she wasn't my favorite character. My favorite in Black Panther was ***=Could potentially be a spoiler but it's from a commercial so...***

Superman is a mashup of smallville and something else. Characters are not 'canon' at all. So to whit, every FC on this GAME is an OC.

I am not knocking their choice, it's their game, they can do what they want. I will stand behind that till the end of time, /because/ it is their game.

I am fully supportive of an FC only game.

I just wish it wasn't, because then I might be interested in the game and it seems fairly hypocritical to allow such weird 'FC' takes on characters, but not OC's.

I love Werewolf 2e, but like most WoD I think it works best in a vacuum, so I am down with Vampire only, even if it's not a sphere I tend to enjoy much.

It was good (Black Panther) I liked it, not my favorite Marvel Movie but it was worth going to the show opening night.

My problem is with rolling d20's. A d20 is a very /swingy/ die when you have a target number? How many times have we played D&D and missed six times in a row with the d20? Sure that can happen with any die system but it seems to happen a /lot/ with the d20.

Now I don't know what the target number is, or how successes are valued, but that makes me pause.

I don't want to feel like a palladium game where everyone's skills /suck/ and you fail nine times out of ten when trying any skill until you're level 15, then it's you only fail 5 out of 8.
