The cost is a big reason why we didn't continue to pursue fertility options once we moved to Colorado. My insurance does cover a little (aka, 500, which is not enough even for the initial tests they will need to do since they won't accept any we had done in Arizona.)

Our three oldest foster babies had to go back to the shelter last night, including the baby I had fallen head over heels with- Hermes.
I cried, a lot. Husband is soothing his sads by claiming the four youngest babies (who we will have for about two more weeks) as his work buddies and I'm cuddling with one of my babies, Lyra. This is the calmest she has been since we started fostering.
I've had to move the pillow he is on several times as my legs fall asleep but such is his trust and deep sleep that he didn't flinch or wake up.

I'm going to push back on this. You started the medication because you were experiencing anxiety and couldn't function properly, right? So it has helped your brain regulate on a normal level. You could call it an addiction I guess, but there is so much negative stigma around that word and so much good psychiatric medication could do that I cringe at the association of properly taken medication to an addiction. There is enough stigma around mental health i hate to add this to the mix.
My husband learned that one of his mentors died today and that was very sad. Then we found out it was being investigated as a suicide and it is just so much more now.
