I've long wanted to see Toronto do something great but I don't know what it is with them... they just don't have a spark. They play at a steady level and where other teams get up for the playoffs, they don't particularly rise to the challenge. They have been playoff contenders for the last several years, if I remember correctly, but no one has had any confidence in them doing anything more than just 'showing up'.

@Duntada Duh. That's what you do if you get split up. Back before everyone had cell phones that's how you found each other if you lost each other at a crowded mall or a theme park...

@Warma-Sheen Are you on windows 10 with the latest version of potato, just for clarification? Seems like previous versions of potato are fine on 10, and newest version of potato is fine on anything but 10.
Yeah, I have no idea... probably a previous version.

@Kanye-Qwest This will be only marginally helpful... But I use potato and can get 256 colors. Problem is I can't explain what you need to do, exactly. Something with an xterm or setting a particular attribute. Hopefully someone else can explain the specifics, but this is just me saying it can be done.

I saw the Hateful 8 in the theatre. There is liberal use of the n-word for those who haven't seen it that is trying to make a point about something but mostly, it doesn't add to any part of the story.
Aw, that's cute. You've never seen a Tarantino movie before?

I don't care what anyone thinks. I liked everything about Fuller House! Well, only the first episode, but still. It was great nostalgia reunion fun!

I think its gonna be a forever triangle of Tate beating Holm, Rousey beating Tate, and Holm beating Rousey.

@Admiral Yeah, from listening to you talk about your job, I'd probably also rather be unemployed that deal with what you deal with. But good for her for at least giving it a shot before coming to the same conclusion.

@Arkandel I liked the video and it makes great points... except for the one about it being bad for the game. It is a team game. There's no reason a team shouldn't be able to play defense. Having 4 of 5 guys huddle in a corner while your best player forces the other team to go 1 on 1 takes something away from the fact that this is supposed to be a team sport. Do the superstars hate it, of course. But not because it hurts the game. Because it hurts their individual stats. This is why But basketball isn't about one person's individual stats. The only change I've noticed is that now a team can't be carried by one person. I don't see anything wrong with that.
If there is that much interest in that style of play, someone should invest in creating a new 1 on 1 league. Like UFC but for basketball.

You can see where his numbers went up at the trail end of 2013-2015. I guess he finally mused, "I wonder what would happen if I just did that the whole year instead of just the end...?" Cut to 2016.

Dude, we got this far in 72 days. The concept for BITN was first proposed in Skype on December 17th, and now it is a thing.
My team is fucking awesome.
I'll second that. 72 days is pretty cool. I'm all for recycling, especially if it gets us cool places to play that quickly. But I think the thing that impressed me the most was that you set a date for it to open and then met it. I confess, I fully expected the date to be pushed back at least twice, so even though I was really wanting it to open up on time, I didn't think it would. I thought I'd have more time to consider what I wanted to play.
