Considering how the author absolutely hates the games.
The author does seem like a tool, but I think it's mostly because he only asked for a flat fee for the game to use the IP, and the game took off like a rocket.

@Roz I feel like he's being wasted on a character I literally care nothing about. But he's the spitting image of Lobo, and they could esaily cash in on a Guardians of the Galaxy type setting for Lobo since he's a space bounty hunter.
Wonder Woman is pretty much DC's last chance. Especially with the major fumble of having Jason Momoa playing fucking Aquaman instead of Lobo.

Evil Coach is dead? Bummer, I loved to hate that guy.
I've been beta testing Rising Storm 2, and they seem to have the pings at a good level. I'm still craptastic at flying a helicopter, but it's fun. Also a new game debuting at $25 is pretty awesome when every other game seems to come out at $80 these days.
Coming from SR Denver, a 2 hour combat scene is amazing. I think the last run I ran I had to start before noon and ended about midnight and there was like... One fight against 3 giant bees or something?
@golgoth Yeah, it was interesting for sure. I disagreed with a lot of what the headwiz did, but it looked very nice and was coded well but I think he put too much work into it and kind of flamed out. A shame it only had like 5 players.
I'm totally on board with being front heavy on physical skills.
I mean, don't gymnasts peak when they're like 12 or something? I was listening to an interview with an airforce helicopter pilot and he said he was got transferred from active flight status when he turned 30 because he was too old. Most professional athletes are thinking about retirement before that time.
@Monogram Finishing Witcher 3 was like having a close friend move away. That game was awesome, I wish Total Recall was real, and I could edit those memories out of my head just so I could play that game for the first time again.
@Rook I don't want to generalize, but my office did go for drinks at lunch today.
@Arkandel I look at the list, and, having worked in a couple of those categories, I wonder how much they're padding their stats by being drunk or extremely hung over at work.

what they do is more dangerous than most professions.
This doesn't really meaningfully contribute to the thread, but everytime I see this being said, I'm reminded of this blog post from the globe and mail
Is vaping anything like using a hooka? I've come across articles that claim hookas are worse than smoking simply because the sessions last much longer, so instead of having like 2 cigarettes an hour, people are constantly hooking(?) over the hour.
@Rook If you're having skills degrade like that, do you make it cheaper to buy back?
If the game is a skill/twitch game like half life, I'll go normal, maybe hard. If it's a dice roller like Dragon's age, I'll go easy, because it's already out of my hands if my character hits or not, and higher numbers just makes it more tedious.
To me, if my character is going to advance, I'd like them to actually advance. I've sat at many tables, and played many games where the mooks scale up with the PCs and it gets tiresome to me. Level bosses, for sure make them tough and scale them up, but when the warm ups take three hours of rolling to deal with, why bother advancing?
