I am already thrilled with the changes made pre-xpac in the leadup. The scaling zones is pretty much the best thing ever.

How is a newbie supposed to know that the stats of the pistol there DON'T represent what the game says it does? They are a newbie. They dont know the system. They have no frame of reference for comparison. Or are we all supposed to just magically intuit this, or be able to crunch the EXTENSIVE numbers required to come to that determination...in our heads, the first time we look at it?

I'd go $40 for game setup, $50 for your core setup, and then maybe you could get away with $20 for the already-coded-per-game-line stuff, though really I'd say $30-50 for that, too.

Other prices are more in the realm of...well, none of this is reasonable industry wise, but something generally affordable for the hobby that you shouldn't feel impossibly guilty about charging?

Honestly, I think you should double your prices aside from the $20/hour for debugging.

That said can you give an idea of the amount of hours related to each of the projects?

@auspice Since you're outside of warranty anyway, do you maybe have a local mom/pop computer shop you can find out if they can fix it? Not cheap, but possibly not the arm, leg, and firstborn that Apple would charge you. They usually have the tools and experience for the work that make those videos less of a scary prospect.

@cobaltasaurus I got stuck in someone's driveway once. Snow and ice, couldn't make it up the hill. Dude (that did not tip me) stood on his porch eating his pizza and watched me struggle, then watched as his neighbor came out and helped me escape. Waved as I finally made it up the hill.
