@rook Nah not worth a new thread yet. Will see where the code goes first

RE: Dragonlance?
@rook I think part of it is while we /love/ the setting, there is a lot to be desired when trying to convert D&D to a text based format, at least, in whole cloth... hmm... I just got an idea...

RE: Transfer of MSB tonight: 7:30 EST
@arkandel I hadn't looked on when the post was made.
Sorry.

RE: Good TV
@thatguythere It is early in the Federation, they are still nailing stuff down, it's the middle of a major war.
I like it because it's not the same shit rehashed over and over again. It's different shit that's been rehashed over and over again.
Also: Chris Isaac. Mmmm. Not quite maybe go straight for as he used to be, but I still enjoy watching him.

RE: Dragonlance?
@jennkryst Ravenloft can kidnap anyone from anywhere. I believe there was even a Domain that was ruled by the head Templar of a sleeping dragon/sorcerer queen from Dark Sun due to that.

RE: Character Information: Wiki or Mu*?
I love me some wiki. I love to practice my wiki-fu skills of stealing other people's templates, and making them look different.
I also /need/ to have access to game information in game all the time.
I am not always connected to a game that can reasonably look at wiki's or webpages, like, my phone.

:performs the sing-song lure of Spelljammer, to have ALL D&D settings, simultaneously.
Except Dark Sun,the best AD&D setting of them all.
We had Dark Sun AND Ravenloft in our Spelljammer game.
Well that's against the rules, cuz Dark Sun isn't in a Crystal Sphere, however, altering book rules to make a game more fun? That gets a thumbs up every time.

RE: Health and Wealth and GrownUp Stuff
@autumn That is rough, I just had to move 900 miles and the job I had where I used to live was supposed to transfer me down there to the new location. After /2 weeks/ I am still not in the system down here, my bills are shot, my credit rating is going to tank, but at least I have an interview tomorrow finally for something new.

RE: General Video Game Thread
@jaded Yeah I've had no problems with Stardock personally but some of their decisions can be iffy on some of their games but they look to be capturing the feel of StarCon 2 really well.

RE: Mac OS Sierra Client
Honestly, I loved zMud, for MUD's, for MUSH's/MUX's etc, I preferred SimpleMU, but now it's Potato, but only because I figured out how to make all the shortcuts match SimpleMU.

RE: Good TV
@auspice To be fair, that hangup is also pretty big in Arrow too with Ollie and Felicity.
Which they are finally working past, for which I am thankful for.

@ominous Sounds intriguing but I don't really see /how/ to efficiently convert that to mu code much at all.
Zones or parent rooms. Both would fit the bill easily. What I don't see is how this would effect the entire world, unless you ran the deck-generation for each event/scene. I'd have to look at the system.
That's the part I meant, the building a deck part for every room/scene/plot maybe? I dunno.

RE: Match of the Millennium MUCK
@alzie There's a few other things you may wish to take into mind but you will likely see it for yourself if you do check it out.
I advise everyone to go to their wiki, and read what their application process requires.
It's pretty extensive especially when they use a custom system (or at least one I am not familiar with) for their stats, attacks, coded combat, etc.
Still would advise people to take a look, it seems interesting overall.

RE: Meanest (But Funniest) Thing You've Done in a Game
Way way way back in the day on Dark Metal, I was playing a City Gangrel and there was this guy checking me out I knew to be Camarilla and a Toreador. He apparently hadn't heard I was Sabbat. So my character (Cuz this was dark metal) had a manipulation of 1, she was very, very, blunt. She walks up to the guy and goes with the /stupidest/ pick up line I could think of:
Nice shoes. Wanna fuck?
The guy of course says yes and we head off to a private place... and I proceeded to go from 13th generation to 12th! Good night.
